I went to this seaside resort town just for snorkeling. I found an excursion that included a full day on a boat, a delicious meal and the opportunity to snorkel. I also wanted to get in some beach time before heading back to a city and since it was predicted to have beautiful sunny weather, despite it being rainy season, I thought why not.
I absolutely love being in the water, however I have a slight fear of fish…strange I know but I am actively facing my fear and realizing they can’t hurt me. Before this trip I had never seen coral reefs before and so it was exciting to see some while snorkeling.
After a day of snorkeling and relaxing on the boat, I decided to spend the next day, my final day in Nha Trang, relaxing on the beach, which offered calming ocean views. It was also very quiet since it was rainy season and not many people want to go to the beach during that time of the year.
That night I travelled on my second last night bus journey to Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon to learn more about the history of Vietnam, take a motorbike tour of the city and take a boat ride down the Mekong Delta.
