Farewell Korea | Explore Korea

Farewell Korea | Explore Korea

Two years. They have been completely filled with memories that I cherish and experiences I have learned from. I remember when I got the idea into my head to take off for a year and teach english in Korea. I constantly saw advertisements about it and read blog posts of other people doing it. One day I signed up for the TEFL class and the next thing I knew I was sending my resume off to Japan, China, Korea and…

Merdeka Square, Kuala Lumpur | Explore Malaysia

On my second day in Malaysia I hopped on the metro and headed to Merdeka Square. I had actually been planning on visiting a mosque near there, but unfortunately it was under construction and so I decided to wander about the square. Some streets are also home to street markets, where vendors sell everything from jewelry, knock off brand purses and sunglasses, phone cases and accessories, traditional looking clothing, cheap…

Victoria Harbour | Explore Hong Kong

Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong’s famous skyline and rightly so. The harbour is between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula and is, of course, named after Queen Victoria. It is the third largest port in the world and a very busy place for tourists, nationals, ferries and cargo ships.

2017 Travel Reads | Wanderlust Inspiration

It has been a while since I have posted anything book related, and while I see this blog as primarily a place to promote adventure out in the world I also know that a big part of my inspiration to travel comes from the worlds in the books that I read. I often like to bring along a travel memoir type book when I am on an adventure of my own. It’s really exciting for me to read about a…
